Barry Makariou

In 1997 I graduated from Central St Martins in Graphic Design, specialising in photography. At my degree show I landed my first assignment for Mixmag to do 8 page fashion story. Soon after I was working for the likes of Esquire, Arena and Loaded shooting Mens Fashion. This led to a major advertising shoot for Hackett. After doing a main watch feature for Esquire in 2002 I realised this was the direction I wanted to take.I find my graphic design background lends itself well to still life.
